What’s up, COD community?

As someone who follows the CDL and competitive scene closely, the bo6 bot lobby service wall-running leak caught my attention big time. Movement mechanics play a massive role in the meta, and wall running could completely shift how pros approach the game.

Back in BO3, the pros who mastered wall-running lanes dominated maps. It allowed for flanking, faster retakes, and unpredictable angles. But it also caused problems: viewership suffered at times because newer fans couldn’t follow the chaos, and map design had to revolve around movement rather than strategy.

If BO6 brings it back, I’m curious how Treyarch (or whoever’s behind BO6) balances it for competitive play. Will it be optional in CDL modes? Will certain maps be banned because they favor wall-running routes too heavily?

I’d love to see ranked playlists split—one for classic movement and one for advanced movement. Or maybe wall running is tied to a perk or field upgrade? That way, it's not a default ability and doesn’t dominate the meta unless a player builds for it.

Also, how do we think wall running will affect gunfights? Are we looking at longer TTKs to account for mobility, or will aim assist get a buff to keep up with erratic movement?

Would love to hear from other competitive players or league fans—how would you want wall running implemented for balance?
