While I’m glad Tactical Stance is gone—it bo6 bot lobbies for Sale was unnecessary and awkward—I’m a bit concerned about the messaging here. Treyarch and Raven introduce a feature one year, then remove it the next. What’s the vision here?
It’s great to listen to the community, but the constant flip-flopping is frustrating. It makes every new addition feel temporary. Tactical Sprint, slide-cancelling, mounting, now Tactical Stance—they keep pushing these mechanics, then backpedal the moment it gets noisy on Reddit.
To be fair, the new movement system in BO6 sounds promising. Omnidirectional movement has real potential if it’s polished. And I’ll never complain about Theater Mode coming back—it’s long overdue for content creators and competitive players.
But I want consistency. Let players learn the game without worrying that a core mechanic will be scrapped a few months later. Maybe test these features longer before shipping them? Or just offer more customization—if Tactical Stance was optional from the start, we wouldn’t be having this debate.
That said, removing cross-play in Warzone Ranked is a win. Huge win. That’s a decision with long-term competitive implications, and I hope it sticks.
Final thought: good patch overall, but I want to see a clearer roadmap. Less reaction, more direction.
