So, I’ve been grinding Battlefield 6 for weeks, and one topic that keeps coming up is bot lobbies. Some players say it’s a harmless way to practice; others call it cheating. It’s a heated debate!
From what I gather, a bot lobby is just a match filled mostly with AI enemies. It gives you time to learn recoil, map routes, and vehicle mechanics without getting instantly wiped. That’s appealing, especially for new players who want to build confidence.
However, when these lobbies are artificially created or sold through outside services, it becomes murky. Companies like U4GM, which are popular in the gaming marketplace scene, often get associated with these topics — but I think players need to be careful about what’s actually allowed.
EA has been clear in the past that manipulating matchmaking or using third-party tools can lead to penalties. So maybe the better route is to push DICE to add official training modes or AI servers — something like Battlefield 2042’s co-op against bots, but better balanced.
What do you all think? Would you use a safe, in-game bot lobby for practice if DICE made one? Or do you think it ruins the competitive side of Battlefield?
